If your bathroom feels dull, there are a number of things you can do to freshen up your bathrooms look, including organization, color, lighting and accessories. Altering the small things in your bathroom will really make a difference in the look of your bathroom.

Organization

Firstly, clean out everything. Your cupboards, drawers, medicine cabinet, off the top counters, everything. Now get rid of anything you don't need. Anything that is not essential should go out.

Once you've cleared everything out, decide what you need to get organized. Drawer divers and plastic containers are great for keeping your little items in order, without the mess. Look for decorative storage pieces for those items remaining on the counter, to enhance your decor.

Now you have all your little items in storage, time to consider the larger storage options for the bathroom. Add in some towel bars. If you can have a towel rail for each member of the family, this discourages from dumping towels on the floor. Remember, double "hotel-style" towel rails are available from home improvement and bathroom stores.

If you don't have enough to room to add extra towel rails, try adding hooks. If there's no well suited place on the walls, behing the door is always a great spot, as they are hidden. Hooks won't take up as much space and will keep things off the floor.

A small cupboard or bathroom spacesaver is always a good idea to add extra storage to your bathroom.
